This week I have been doing a Compare & Contrast map on a story called Silas The Stretcher-Bearer and its about two armys fighting at war and if people got injured then the Stretcher Bearers job is to help them and get them to safty before they get killed.

This week we are reading a story called Silas the streacher-bearer its about New Zealand going to war with other countries. Some people would refuse to go to war so then they would go to jaill or they became conscientious objecter.Silas was 23 when he got drafted he had diffrent beliefs he beleaved in the bible and he refused to carry a gun or go to war. Silas became a conscientious objecter some people would call them cowards.The gouverment said that if fighting against a mans religion,they called go into non-combatant. We did a compare and contrast map to explain this

This week our group has been reading a book about a koro and his moko
gone fishing on a dingy the boy caught a snapper he got a photoe with his fish and so did his koro when he whent fishing with his koro.

Today I read a poem called Night Sky and I also read a story called Bean Rock we've been doing cool stuff in reading and I enjoy it alot after we read the story we had to do a Compare and Contrast map on it and we had to Compare it from Old to Current lighthouses.

Today I read a poem and it is called night sky it realy captures the night sky. To me it paints a picture in my head i could just read it all night. This week we are reading a journal, the story is called Bean Rock. I have completed the whole book it is very infomational

Yesterday I completed a book about docking lambs that was non fiction. It was about a family going to their farm to dock the lambs.When something that every kid would dream of happend a choclate van pulled over and started taking photos when suddenly the van was tumbling down the hill with choclate flying everywhere the man came sliding down the hill after it we all ran over and helped pick all the choclate up what a day.
