At the beginning of this term Room 6 went to Tui Ridge Park for camp.  They wrote about some of the activities through poetry.

Shooting

TASTE I could taste excitement rushing out of my mouth turning into words. I could taste the bitter taste of smoke.

SMELL. I could smell the trees beautiful smell of wood like the smell of fragrant perfume combined with the smell of smoke drifting among the end of the end of the barrel.

HEAR. I could hear the loud exhausting sound of the gun exploding off.
I herd the ricochet rebounding amongst the target.

SEE. I could see the bulls eye, it looked like an over grown mole ready to snatch it away.
I could see the trigger.
I saw it fling back, the bullet made a hole in the target about the same size as the blasted bullet.

FEEL. I could feel the wind blowing, my stomach leaching forward like worms trying to get out.
